Siblings sharing a room....

So I'm currently pregnant with baby number two. Before I even found out I was pregnant I promised my oldest that he can have my old room "a bigger room connected to mine" so that way he can have his own space, bigger and become independent "he's 8 and still wants to co-sleep" so since his bed will be right next door and I have a connecting door I thought it was perfect. But now that I am almost 27 weeks. I thought it's be best that the baby be in that room due to convenience and the fact that he will be right there. I kind of feel bad that I'm putting the baby in the room. And I didn't want my son to feel a certain way so we agreed he would share the room with his baby brother. My son Is a very kind and sharing person and very selfless for being an only child for 8yrs. I just feel guilty. Does anyone else have their children share rooms?
