thumb sucker moms… 🥴

Hi,

I’m looking for some guidance… my son is almost 2.5 and is a thumb sucker….he’s been a thumb sucker since forever. He hated the pacifier no matter how many times I’ve tried to get him on one he just wasn’t interested.

I’d like to know what some of you’d have done to get their little one off the thumb? He’s going to be 3 in June…. he used to only suck his thumb for bed but now he does it when he’s tired during the day or if he’s on the couch watching his fav show he will suck his thumb as well.

His finger is started to get like a scab and his nail is a disaster. It’s like bent inwards if that makes sense. Anyways I don’t want it to ruin his teeth or anything so I’d like any ideas on how to get him to stop.

I’m really thinking about getting one of those gloves that I’ve seen on Amazon just don’t know if it’s even worth it.
