Potty training tips!!

My son will be two next month, we have already tried to start potty training but he was scared of his mini toilet. A few months later got the seat you put on the big toilet, and he was terrified of that. I thought maybe he wasn't ready and would try again after his second birthday. So the past week or so he has started taking off his pull-up and grabbing at his privates and so I ask him "hey, do you wanna use the potty. Do you need to go pee pee?" And I'll lead him to the bathroom and sit him on the seat and he will freak out and then run back in the living room. I grab a clean pull-up and he goes and pees on the floor 🤣 I tell him "hey, it's alright, but we are suppose to pee pee in the toilet." Soo to me, it seems like he may be ready to start again but the problem is he is scared of the toilet. He goes with us to the bathroom, loves flushing the toilet. He knows the whole bathroom routine he just hates the toilet. Any ideas, tips, or tricks to help? Thanks in advance!
