Finally stood up to my MIL and need to share

Ok so lemme explain that my husband Blair just found out his biological dad Ron has been diagnosed with cancer. They’ve only met once in person and have maintained an amicable relationship through phone calls and texting. We all know that complex relationships often cause more challenging grief as there’s so much to unpack.

Anyways. My toxic MIL asked Blair for Ron’s phone number so she could call him after all of these years (she fell pregnant with Blair after briefly hooking up with Ron) to thank Ron for giving her her first son.

Long story short, Blair said no, that’s not appropriate. He offered to give her phone number to Ron who can call her if and when he wants to. Lorrrrrd let me tell you she was MAD. Like, she told Blair and our toddler to get out of her house type mad.
