Advice pls be honest

I told my man to apply to a job that’s giving him $22 an hour rather then him working $16 an hour but the $22 an hour job an 1 hour away where is family lives but the $16 pay is were the other job is . When I was thinking about it I wasn’t thinking negative like “ what if I give birth or something happens to me or the baby “ ps. I give birth in 2 month ( February) . his mom and my mom and aunt says he shouldn’t work at the $22 one because it’s an hour away and if something happens to me or the baby he would talk long to come here but mind u he will only work 4 days over there then come back to me and the baby ! That’s why I wasn’t so bothered about it .

What should I do or say to my man now idk tbh , I’m still stuck on he should go for the money and stay because what if something happens
