So I guess my first sample of blood for our NIPT test through invitae failed to produce a result. They have to move on to testing another sample. Hopefully this will have a result, but we will see. What are the reasons it would fail? I’m freaking out because if you look online it says that this could indicate a higher chance of chromosome abnormalities or obesity, and I am a thin woman. My anxiety is through the roof and I can’t stop worrying. Did this happen to anyone else and what was the outcome? It’s so hard to wait and when I try to contact the lab, they don’t give much information..
