Long story short my son is 7 months and had stage 2 blackberries for the first time last Thursday and yesterday morning. He had it around 7am and ate less than half a jar both days. On Thursday around noon he had one poop diaper with black specks, yesterday around 6pm he had another, and today around 130p he had one. Today is the only day he didn’t have any raspberries but has a black specked diaper. His attitude is normal, only fussy around nap time, he’s eating well, and so on. Anyone else have these black specks linger in their baby’s stool after berry meals? His doctor told us to go to ER for upper GI bleed but she hasn’t seen the photos. He hasn’t had a fever and otherwise completely normal. I’d hate to expose him to even more for nothing. He just got over H1N1 flu after catching it at the doctors office.
