What are the odds.....

Question

I'm 25 weeks 5 days..a couple days ago at many appointment I was measuring 31 weeks...

By the time I measure 40 weeks I'll be 34 weeks gestation...

What are my odds of going into labor around 34 weeks???? At 40 I'll be measuring 46 weeks......that sounds nuts...no gd or anything...no excessive fluids...no fibroids. I've been checked for all of that...what do you think....

The measuring tape isn't as accurate as an ultra sound.

My friend measured 36 wks at 30 wks and continued to measure ahead until she had a csection at 39 weeks. The day of her csection she measured 42+weeks and her baby was 10 pounds 4 oz.

You won't necessarily always measure ahead. I did and then balanced out. Fundal height doesn't even mean much, just an easy way to check that there is actual growth.

I'm going to ask about a growth scan. I was only measuring 4 weeks ahead and now it's 6 weeks....

Don't go by the measuring tape. I'm 36 weeks baby measuring 38. I was an inpatient for few days over weekend each midwife that measured me one said 37 , one 38 and one 39 lol.
