In Laws

I’m recently married, my husband is my daughter’s step dad. He accepts her fully and I thought his family would accept her fully as well. They get her birthday gifts and Christmas gifts but never tried to spend time with her. His sister has a child that they always have. Am I weird for feeling like this? I’ve talked to my husband about it and he didn’t say much, but I’m not the type to bite my tongue or if something just doesn’t feel right I removed myself and which I’ve kind of done(not around them much).
