Hey ladies!

This is my first cycle using OPK. The first day I tested was negative, the following day up until 5th day of using OPK, I’ve had the flashing face only, not the solid smile. My question is, is it normal for it to flash 4-5 days in a row without showing the solid smile? The lines have been definitely getting darker. This first picture is from the first few days (ignore the date, I placed the sticks in the order and you can see lines getting darker)

Now this next picture is from this morning and it looks as dark as the main line but it’s still flashing smiley and it’s not showing the solid smile (peak is it called?)

Am I doing this right? Is it normal to go so many days with flashing smiley? Will the solid show up eventually or is it normal to never have the solid smiley and settle with the flashy smiley until my test shows negative?

I apologize if this is confusing but this is exactly how it is in my head 😐
