Nasty friend?
I have this friend who is constantly making sly remarks and jibes at me and basically trying to put me down or make herself look better, however for some reason I remain friends with her.
The way she acts is not entirely her fault though as she has a pretty horrible family - very controlling and judgmental but they are not the worst!
Just wondering how to deal with the situation, sitting down and talking to her wouldn't be exactly effective as she won't listen and will talk about her self as she always does.
I'm aware that her actions could be a cry for help but having been in a heartbreaking situation with my ex boyfriend last year similar to this (the horrible family) I'm not prepared to emotionally commit to her issues (I know that sounds awful but it is the truth)
Advice would be appreciated!
