Anyone else get induced with soft cervix but not dilated? 🇨🇦

Getting induced tomorrow, at my appointment yesterday my OB said the baby’s head was engaged (confirmed with ultrasound), cervix was soft but not dilated at all. 
Tomorrow morning they’ll check me again and decide on which way to ripen cervix
Anyone else have a similar experience for induction?

Yes and we did cervidil overnight and pitocin to follow. I think i was like 70-90%effaced prior to the cervidil then after 12 hours of it being inserted I was about 2-3cm dilated/100% effaced. Worked pretty well/quickly!

Yes they gave me an internal pessary and told me to probably expect to have to be given another round so many hours later however I went into labour within 3 hours so they popped my waters

My baby’s head wasn’t engaged at at all. I think I was 1cm and not really effaced at all. Cervadil went in around 8pm and I never needed any other induction agents. Water broke on its own around 2am and I had my baby at 5 am.
