Do you pack your hospital bag early?

33 weeks right now. I started packing my hospital bag today and my husband thought it was silly to do it early. I can see his point I was just curious what other people are doing!

I am also 33 weeks and have started packing. I have a couple things that puts me at risk for pre term labor however even if I didn’t I would start packing now. I would rather be prepared because you never know when you will go into labor or if you will early. With my first I was entirely unprepared and trying to pack right before going to the hospital 😬

My first was 40 weeks planned induction so I packed the week before. 
My second came early at 36 weeks and I started packing at 35 weeks and by the time it was time for him to come at that point not everything was ready. 
With this one I plan on having everything done by 34 weeks to be safe and to make sure I don't need anything extra. I am going to have a planned c section at 37 weeks or planned induction at 39 weeks. So it all depends but I plan on doing 34 weeks cause my last baby came earlier then expected.

Started mine at 35 weeks. First baby, labor started at 37 and 4. So really doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Silly or not, worst case the bag sits there for a few extra weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️

They recommend 37 weeks to have it ready since that's when your considered "full term" and no one will try to stop you from going into labor

I had everything packed by 32 weeks with my first… with this one, I’m 29 weeks and feeling absolutely no urgency 😅 I’ll probably pack at about 38/39 weeks… possible that I might just throw some stuff in a bag when I’m in labour tho

Both pregnancies I packed while in labour. I had nothing else to do lol.

My last two I packed around 35 weeks, this time I’ve had a lot of preterm labor symptoms so I think I’m going to pack sooner just in case.
