First time success for IUI?

Question

Would love to hear success stories for first timers on IUI? Was it a success or how many rounds and just any advice? Should be going for mine soon, going to check on follicle size tomorrow morning, prayers that it's big enough to do the trigger shot!

First IUI worked for me, getting to my 8 weeks in a couple of days. I had 2 follicles that were pretty small- 14 and 15mm and my lining was thin as well- 5mm so my doc put me on estrogen. I was also taking Femara and an ovidrel shot. Hubby had 120mil pre wash and 44mil post wash. Got a faint positive on 11dpiui

First round worked for us! I released 2 follicles at 20 and 18. I wasn't expecting it to work so fast because I researched the success rate for first IUI and it wasn't as high. Now I'm 5 weeks. Baby dust to you and please don't test until AF is late. You may get a false negative/positive

After 5 years we did our first IUI October 26th and we got our BFP! We used Follistim injectables, ovidrel and progesterone suppositories. I'm currently 9 weeks 3 days😊 Good luck!

I'm 5w4d pregnant after my first iui :) I'm not sure exactly what my follicle size was but I know I only had one and it was so large they were worried they might have missed my ovulation. Good luck!

After having an abdominal ectopic pregnancy over a year ago and having to have part of my left Fallopian tube removed, and being diagnosed with severe PCOS and I also have a blocked Fallopian tube that is permanent, my first IUI was successful! I'm now 4weeks5days pregnant!
Here's what my RE had me do:
1. I was on Provera for 7 days from February 20th-26th to induce a period, it worked....period began February 29th!
2. On CD3-7, which was March 02-06th, I was prescribed Clomid 50mg and went to the doctor on March 11th to see if it worked....it didn't work and had no follicles at all that responded so I was immediately increased to Clomid 100mg and took it March 11th-15th and went for ultrasound on March 18th to see if it worked! It worked and I had 3 follicles all from my right ovary which is my only ovary I have to work with. 
3. I did Pregnyl 10,000 units trigger shot on March 20th at 11pm. 
4. I had my first IUI on March 22nd with 3 follicles: two 22mm follicles and one 24mm follicle. My husbands sperm count prewash was 19.5million and postwash and what they inseminated me with was 4.5 million!
5. On March 23rd I began taking Progesterone suppositories 100mg twice a day to help maintain a pregnancy and increase chances of the IUI being successful! It worked.

I was on my 2nd round of Clomid 100 days 5-9 when I did my first IUI. Ovidrel shot, 15 million after wash. BFP 13dpiui. Confirmed my doctor that day. Best day ever. However, we lost it by week 5.

Did anyone in here do IUI two days in a row? I heard people do it back to back or some just do the one day and intercourse the next day instead of IUI again

Another question: is anyone on a 34 day cycle, and did the trigger shot work for you? Did you ovulate as said from the trigger with 36 hours or was it earlier then expected 24 hours?

The second IUI worked for us, but sadly ended in miscarriage at 5w4d. We used Femara, HCG trigger and progesterone with the iui. Good luck!!
