If you could go back, would you still choose to have kids?

Currently arguing with my boyfriend that one does NOT need kids to live a happy and fulfilled life. I've heard from plenty of people that given the chance to go back, they would choose to not have kids. Maybe that sounds bad, but I don't blame people.

I hate kids. Absolutely can't stand them. If I were to get pregnant tomorrow, I honestly would be depressed for the rest of my life. I have no desire to be a mother. My boyfriend has made it clear that if I get pregnant and decide to abort, that is the end of our relationship. I love my life, my relationship, my job and everything the way it is. My boyfriend acts like kids are the end-all-be-all in life. I want to travel, make bank by moving up the corporate ladder, adopt more dogs, visit with existing family, go in girls trips and simply LIVE without some kid being attached to me 24/7 and taking over my life.

And before anyone asks or says it might be because I'm young, I'm 24 and have been with my boyfriend for 6 years. We have plenty of friends with kids and I see how stressed/tired/anxious they are all the time.
