Any ideas?

A friend invites me to her daughter’s quinceañera and I don’t know what to wear, it’s during the day and its in two weeks. Can someone give me some ideas of what kind of outfit or purse its ok. I haven’t been in an event in along time.

Ask her how formal it is.  I've been to ones that would be considered black tie and I've been ones that were cocktail attire and I've been to ones that are casual.

Quinces are very fancy events usually. Gowns are worn. Party attire. Like a wedding. And mascaraed masks My niece in Florida her Quince was Tiffany blue and phantom of the opera theme. All the tables and chairs were that color. All the men were in suits and tuxedos. It was a huge bash took 2 years to plan. They had one section was was Brazilian carnival theme men on stilts the women with the costumes with feathers. They had at midnight Latin folklore musicians singing Las mañanitas. They had before that regular Dj, American and Latino music it was part after part. Lasted from 4pm until 2am. Limousines and and professional photographers. 6 course meal. Some new section every hour or performance.

Any ideas?
