I was just wondering if anyone has applied for a DV order on their ex partner/child’s father and it been denied?

I’m worried for mine & my child’s safety. My ex partner drives past my house most nights, calls me names & each time we do the drop off & pick up he yells at me over the top of our son & wont leave me alone. I’m unsure on what to do? We split a month ago, he was violent in our relationship the last straw was when he jumped out my moving vehicle infront of our son when I was driving due to a disagreement & then started punching the dash screaming at me not leaving me leave. I wish I called the police.

Incidents like this have happened more times then I could possibly count. Thing is I have next to no evidence. I’m scared to apply for the order & then for it to be rejected. He denies everything he’s ever done makes me feel like I’m going crazy. Please help or give me advice if you’ve been through similar!
