I just turned 30 and my hubby is 36..I’m beginning to think my husband has lost interest in me sexually or has ED or a combo. We will usually only have sex once a week..and we are trying to conceive and have been for over 4 years…a couple weeks ago he said he wanted to start trying to have sex everyday…but when we try that I really get the feeling it’s just a chore for him and he’ll go soft a lot. I try wearing the sexy things, spicing things up. I hit my peak yesterday and things were going well…we were kissing then he was pretty good and hard while I was going down on him then when he went to go inside me he went soft pretty quick and we couldn’t finish…he says he hasn’t been feeling well. Idk…I’m feeling hurt and likes is me, and if it was me he’d never admit it. There’s a large part of me that feels he’s probably jerking off most nights and what does that say if he can get himself off but I can’t? My heart is broken honestly. does anyone have any advice on ED or been in a similar situation? Please no negative/mean comments…I’m hurting enough

Porn addiction could very well be an issue. I have several guy friends that have told me that they can no longer have sex with their girlfriends/wives that they very much love because they’ve watched too much porn and after training their brains to get off on porn, regular sex with a normal woman no longer does the trick for them. 
If this is the case, he’ll need to cut out watching porn and jerking off entirely.

If you have sex every day, there’s not gonna be much semen coming out, and it does become a chore. Perhaps trying a cock ring, Viagra, getting checked to make sure everything is OK, or perhaps down deep he really does not want to child, he’s just doing it to make you happy. It could be depression, anxiety, performance anxiety, the pressure and added stress, the disappointment that you feel, the disappointment that he feels in himself, sometimes it’s a side effect of a medication, my ex, during the pandemic when it first started, they changed up his diabetic medication, and unfortunately the side effect was affected his penis. He went and got Viagra, and when he gained a lot of weight during the pandemic, the added pressure on the veins and arteries down there, unfortunately when men gain weight in their belly, the pouch below their belly that holds the testicles and everything also in larges and really sucks in the penis, so he went and got a penis pump you do what you Gotta do. Sometimes it’s a side effect of an antidepressant, sometimes it’s just what is on their mind, sabotaging yourself thinking well it happened the last time it’s going to happen again, I’m gonna have to deal with her all sad and upset, and disappointed, it’s a lot of pressure. That’s why I can take people time to conceive, on top of that he may have slow motility, he may have low sperm count, low testosterone, or any other issue. It may be time for him to go and get checked out, if it’s not a physical issue, then it’s a psychological issue. I wish you guys luck, I hope things get better, every man is different, there are men who can I have testicular cancer and erectile dysfunction and they’re 20s even. And there are men who are approaching 60 who are still having an active sex life, without the need of assistance. Have a high sex drive etc. you never know what you’re going to get. I have a friend, he had testicular cancer when he was in college. He had to have one testicle removed, he still has children even with one testicle, you never know. Blaming or being angry with him for having sexual dysfunction is not ok. People react to stress in different ways- this may be his. Sex daily is a chore to many, sorry to say but not everyone wants to have sex every single day. That isn’t about you. Planning a child is also quite stressful, pressure to perform can cause loss of erection. Communicate with your partner. If you can’t speak freely about sex, sex problems, stress, etc., you should put trying for a baby on the back burner and couples counseling on the table. Talking about your problems is the first part to solving them.

Trying to conceive is stressful. For us, it doesn’t matter if we orgasm or not during sex. But for them it’s like “if you don’t, this whole mission is a failure so….” 
It’s not necessarily ED or that he suddenly finds you unattractive: Could just be the pressure of having to perform. It’s not sexy, you know? My husband is early 30s and we’ve used pills before when he feels he needs it. Some months he’s needed one and then there are other months we did it every day and he didn’t need them. I think it’s more mental than anything and we have to make sure we aren’t putting too much pressure on them at any given time like “today is the day we absolutely have to do it or else…”
