Help!! Am I over reacting?

Is it safe to get fillings? I’m 23W and my dentist said I have a small cavity, and that I need a filling. Is it safe? Has any of you mommas got it pregnant?

I just got a filling at about 14 weeks pregnant.  My dentist knows and didn’t advise against it?

My dentist won’t do my filling until after I give birth. Like the other said, unless it’s absolutely necessary they usually wait.

Generally, they won't help you until you've reached your 3rd trimester, and that's if it's got to happen while you're pregnant (like a bad infection which can harm your baby). I got 2 wisdom teeth pulled while 28 weeks pregnant with my first. I had a painful infection. I was awake for the entire thing, they just numbed my mouth, pulled my teeth, and gave me a lidocaine mouth rinse and sent me on my way.

Help!! Am I over reacting?
