Relationship Issue?

I’m a very affectionate person. And I like to hold hands and cuddle and such. But my boyfriend is very against pta. Which is fine I don’t really wanna be attached by the lips 24/7 out in public all the time either. But sometimes it really hurts my feelings. If I ask to hold his hand in public he will blunty tell me no and that he doesn’t like to do stuff like that in public. And he knows I don’t like that. Any advice?

Tell him how you feel since hes so comfortable with telling you how he feels. Communication is key. But in my opinion, that's a little weird. I mean, the least he can do is hold your hand it's not that big of a deal. Just communicate and see how it goes.

I’ve been in this situation but as your boyfriend as I don’t like PDA. From my perspective it is never anything personal again my partner.  It’s just the desire to feel secure in our relationship without having to hold hands all the time.  And while I understand your perspective it can be exhausting to have to alter your needs to your partners all the time on either side.  I would just talk to home about it and see if he can articulate why he doesn’t like holding hands so that you don’t feel bad and maybe you guys can work out a compromise.
