Which breast pump would you choose?

Hey! Sorry I just made a poll and realized I only had one option🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I meant to add Madella I dont know all brands! But pleas comment if there are any really good ones you've had and would reccomend!! Definitely looking into hands free would love to bear about experiences with hands free! Ill be self paying so want to make a good choice price isnt an issue so reccomend away! I plan to exclusively breast feed but also be able to pump on the side! Thanks!!!

I went with medella because the hospital I delivered in used medella pumps and any time they supplied me with parts to pump (baby was in the nicu) I got to take them home (they toss them anyway) and they were compatible with my pump so I got extra bottles, nipples, flanges, tubing, etc. for free!

Your intent for the pump will be a large driving factor. As a mommy whose first experience was with a hospital grade medela pump, I’m Medela for life. I’ve heard good things about spectra but unless you’ve used both I don’t trust their opinion bc I ordered a different brand based on rave reviews (I don’t remember the name it was 7 years ago) and it SUcKED! The suction was not strong enough for me.

I loved my Spectra electric pump but nothing beat the lansinoh hand pump. I found having both was super helpful. The electric pump was great for when I could sit down and dedicate time to pumping and the hand pump was great for random on the go pumping. I found the hand pump to be more affective as well. I usually emptied my breast in half the time it would take for the electric.

I used Medela with my first and Lansinoh with my second. I found the flanges on the Lansinoh to be so much more comfortable! They have a ring of silicone around the edge. Otherwise, the pumps were pretty similar.
