My 7 month old has been constipated. Cried to get this out. It's very dark, not sure if it's considered black. I just gave him prune juice in his formula going to see if tomorrow there will be a difference but by the picture, should I be worried?

Puréed prunes are more effective than prune juice in my babe’s case. Just in case you need to up your game 😔 Good luck to you and your lil one.

Ouch poor baby! My son used to make big hard poop like this when he was a babe and he would cry 😭😭😭 i would try to give him apple or pear juice as instructed by his doctors occasionally to help with the constipation. I used to feel so bad and helpless when he had to poop

Oh no! Poor baby! And poor you! I know when this was us, I was so stressed. I started giving my baby a prune or sometimes two every day. It helped SO MUCH. If you’re doing purée, they should have just a prune option as well. Worked like a charm. Bit of course know you can always cal your dr to get their advice!

Poor guy. That’s constipated poop. Looks the same in babies as it does in adults! Address his constipation aggressively now or he’ll struggle his whole life if his bowels get overly stretched.
