37 weeks appt. Sent to triage

Was not expecting to spend the day in triage. I had several high blood pressure readings at my 9:30 am midwife appointment, so I was sent over to triage “in an abundance of caution.” Layed down in the waiting room for an hour and a half waiting for a room. Had a lot of time to wrap my head around possibly being induced today at 37 weeks. Listened to hypnobirthing affirmations tracks while baby and me were being monitored. And got the news my labs came back fine and bp was lower so I could head home at 2:30. I was advised to monitor my blood pressure at home and schedule an appointment for early next week. So I did that, but now I kinda want to cancel it (I still have my 38 week appt. for my first cervical check scheduled for a week from today on next Friday). I’m trying to be accepting of however my birthing happens, but I really want to avoid interventions. I looked over my labs and my mchc and hgb were slightly low, so I picked up an iron supplement on my way home. I’m going to seriously pack my hospital bag and get that car seat installed… also going to start tracking my belly tightenings - I didn’t think I was possibly in labor, but after today, I’m not so certain I know what’s going on at all!
