I've been trying to get this promotion for a year and a half. I've been dedicated to busting my ass to get here. This whole time any chance my "friend" gets, they throw jabs below the belt, trying to talk shit about me saying I do a bad job. They even tried saying my old boss quit because they didn't want to train me, which is not a legit reason for someone to quit a salary paying job just because they don't want to train someone for a few weeks.

...Well, I finally got an interview and got promoted. And today I was talking to my "friend" about it and they completely ignored me, trying to walk away as I was mid conversation. It pisses me off. Like why are you being rude to me?

.....the thing is, shes asked me "how I can get to where you're at?"

And I told her, I gave her every single step. It is hard work, you do have to be on your toes and bust your ass, and show you're worth your salt. She chose not to do that, she doesn't like to work hard. She'd rather kiss ass and flirt with people and move up that way. Which is fine, but like....don't be mad at me because I actually put in the work and I'm seeing the results. I'm a female too so it's not a sexist thing, girls CAN move up here, she's just lazy.

AND......it's even shittier now because if I cut her off now, she's just gonna run her mouth saying I changed because I got a raise, which isn't the case..they're supposed to be my friend but I'm just tired of her being rude.
