Is anyone doing baby sign?

I thought I might start today and jump on the bandwagon! So far I’ve just been modelling 2 signs (more and all done). If you’re doing it or have done it with other kids, how many signs did you introduce at once? What signs did you find the most useful? When did your baby start signing back?

I don't have a set schedule or amount of signs that I introduce. Instead, I try to be consistent about using them in natural settings. For example, when we're outside and see birds, I'll point them out, say, "bird(s)" and make the sign. Or if he's playing in the grass, I'll touch the grass with him and say something like, "The grass tickles!" I'll make the sign for grass when I say the word.
Consistency isn't my strong point though. I have to train myself to be better about it. I did try the approach of adding a new sign each week and tracking it. But then I'd forget or introduced an unscheduled sign because an opportunity for it arose. So, I tossed that and am doing what I shared above.
We often have the TV on for background noise. So, I'll sometimes put on Sing & Sign videos on YouTube. It helps me remember and learn new signs and I don't mind him listening/watching them. He's, usually, too busy playing to care about what's on the television.

No (but I try to never actually say, No, unless I really mean it. I think it's over used in general, and loses it's impact.)
There's probably more and he only does a few of them with any real intent - eat, milk, more, and dog. Like audible words, though, his receptive understanding is vastly larger. E.g. he understands it when I make the signs for milk, play, jump, outside, stop, and diaper change. I don't have to speak the words.

My little girl will do more! Still kind of a clap right now but it’s different. We did it with her brother at the same age but he started talking pretty early and we didn’t really need it, but more, all done, and help were what we did with him! 
We also did thank you bc it was cute but he rarely did it 😂
