I'm currently 8 months pregnant and sleep on my back some nights. Whatever is comfortable for you. You might wake up with pins and needles in your legs but some nights it's the only way I can fall asleep. Baby will let you know if they aren't happy with your position

You can technically sleep on your back when you want to. Your body will naturally adjust you. I’ve woken up on my back so many times during my pregnancy and I’m 24 weeks. I’ll sleep on my left and right as well. You’re gonna move around through the night. Don’t stress.

I stop trying once I find out I’m pregnant bc I am a back sleeper and I need all the time I can get to practice sleeping on my side. I use a cheese-wedge shaped pillow to prop me onto my side. It works great for me. Makes me feel like I’m sleeping in my back but allows the weight to be slightly off the center of my body.
