Do you ever feel like your baby is less appreciated

So during my entire pregnancy, my mil said that she was going to be gifting us a travel system if we pick it out. So last night after finding a very affordable travel system that me and my bf both like, she told us that she will no longer will be buying it for us. Which is completely fine. I never asked for it but she was the one who said in the first place that she will buy it. KEEP IN MIND, she bought my SIL a travel system and a pack n play- a britax one btw so VERY expensive. That set came out to be $499 while the one that we want is only $139. You do the math. She also bought my BIL a crib, bassinet, high chair, travel system, a swing, clothes AND she gave them a shit ton of diapers. On my side of the family, my grandma bought each and every one of her grand babies a travel system and she hand made each and every one of their crib sets. (I am the oldest grand child. all of my cousins are barely being born) it's not that I'm mad that literally nobody is buying us anything, I'm mad because we were promised so much and now he won't he getting anything gifted. Me and my boyfriend will be buying everything. We were the ones who wanted him and planned him so it's only fair but I feel like my son won't be as appreciated or loved by his family since me and my boyfriend aren't married.
