I had a laparoscopy done last Thursday and I have Endometriosis. There wasn't a huge growth, but yowza, I am in pain. They removed what they found and now I'm questioning everything about my fertility issues. Normally, I would do extensive research on this condition, but I feel oddly detached from my diagnosis. My SO and I have been trying to conceive for almost 4 years and we've had 2 miscarriages. My gynecologist seems very optimistic about us getting pregnant, but I feel numb. I'm also very high risk for Ovarian Cancer and this is yet another illness that raises the risk. I'm depressed which is normal after surgery, but I have a this horrible feeling that I won't ever carry a child to term. Sorry. I just needed to vent.
