Miscarriage at 8 weeks

I started having some spotting Tuesday night. I contacted my OB and she said to monitor it, and go to the ER if I had heavy bleeding and cramping. The spotting increased yesterday when I was at work, so I left work. Did not have anymore after that but I had talked to my OB and she scheduled an ultrasound for today. I was getting ready for work this morning and had some Brown thick spotting when I wiped so I stayed home from work. When I went to my ultrasound there was no heartbeat. The growth was a couple days behind so they think on Tuesday the heart stopped beating and that's why I had spotting. I opted to try to let my body pass it and I go back in a week for an ultrasound to see if I need a DNC. Everyone from work knows about the pregnancy because I have a physically demanding job and operate PIT equipment so I had to tell them since I could not operate some of the equipment being pregnant or lift over 25 lbs. And we told family and my 6 year old. I'm not looking forward to facing everyone and I'm really sad. But I wanted to show pictures of the spotting/bleeding that I had so that other women could see what mine looked like to compare their spotting to either ease their mind or contact their doctor. I hope that everyone who is ttc gets pregnant and has healthy full term babies, and pray for healthy babies to everyone who is expecting.
