Cheating ?

I just tested positive for HSV2 and I am so hurt and I am pregnant. I found out because I had a sore on my vagina in which I just thought it was a razor bump. My husband use to frequently have bumps on his penis for years and pop them but just thought it was from irritation. So now we know it’s because we both have HSV2 I had my daughters in April and I never showed any signs then. Could my husband cheated on me just recently and just not obtaining the disease

I think it may be helpful for you to read up on it before you get into a tailspin about it. Many people carry the virus for years without knowing they have it. If you say he often got bumps, those then were outbreaks and that's how you got it. It doesn't mean he cheated.

I think the only thing that would make me think he cheated was the fact that usually they test when you had your girls so if you didn’t have it then but you do now sounds concerning

Honestly there’s no telling if it came from your husband, any of your exes or even any of your Huss exes.
Unfortunately with HSV, it can lie dormant for years and years without you even knowing you have it until it decides to show its ugly face.

He could have cheated or the virus could have been dormant this entire time. Were you having regular checkup’s? Can you ask your doctors for records? Does your husband go to the doctor?

Being pregnant makes you more vulnerable to infections you may already have had for years (prevents rejection of the fetus). So you probably had it for years.

I wouldn’t go to cheating… my SO has it but I don’t… he had his first outbreak while we were dating but I also am aware that his ex wife cheated on him a lot so honestly it didn’t surprise me. We take care now and to this day I don’t have it and his outbreaks are rare… it can lay dormant
