Baby came early at 37w6d!

I woke up at 5:30 am on 12/21 thinking I had just peed myself a little bit during my sleep. I went to the bathroom, changed my clothes and went back to bed. All day it felt like I was uncontrollably peeing on myself just a little bit. Finally around 3pm, my husband took us to the hospital. I was admitted with a slow water break, without contractions, dilated at 3cm & 80% effaced. We ended up leaving the hospital due to Covid restrictions and they would not allow my husband to return after he left. We were admitted to a different hospital around 7pm, still at 3cm & 80%. We started pitocin around 11pm & did position changes until 2am. At approximately 3am I was 7cm and decided to get an epidural. Baby came at 3:59am on 12/22/21!

We had the best male nurse I could’ve ever asked for. He was so knowledgeable it was like he had given birth himself before. I did pass out shortly after baby came due to low iron & losing too much blood. We are both home & healthy 💙
