Gender Reveal Ultrasound Advice

My best friend wants to throw me a gender reveal and is willing to pay the fee. My anatomy scan is February 10th, when I’m 20 weeks pregnant. A local ultrasound business will do gender scans at 16 weeks pregnant, but has agreed to do mine before they close for two weeks. At the scan, I would be 15 weeks and two days pregnant. I’m weary of throwing a gender reveal and then finding out that the 15 week scan was wrong. Should I go ahead, or wait? How early did you have a gender ultrasound and was it accurate?
