Our ER here doesn’t tell us anything on scans other than what it measured. No heartbeat detected.

Sonographer here, it’s perfectly normal to not be able to detect a heartbeat at 5w 6d. It’s still early. It’s just a waiting game right now, until you are a little farther along.

Yes. I never see anything until around 8 weeks.

5 weeks 6 days is incredibly early for an ultrasound - most doctors here in the US won’t do an ultrasound until at least 8 weeks because of that but more and more are making us wait until 10-12 weeks.
