The app says me EDD is Aug 27th. The problem is I can't get in to see my obgyn until January 21st ( the receptionist was trying to put me out into February). I'm just so concerned as my pregnancy test line never got as dark as the control line. the first one was faint but the ones after were darker ( still nowhere near the control line) ontop of having some cramping I'm just so worried... After the year we've had I haven't said anything to husband until I can get confirmation that the little peanut is fine. Anybody else having to wait longer to see the doctor?

My EDD is sept 2nd according to my apps. But I can't get in to get a dating ultrasound until Jan 24th. This is the longest I've ever had to wait. I'm 5 weeks today

So, by year you’ve had it sounds like you’ve had a loss, for which I’m sorry. It’s definitely normal to not get in to see your doctor until between 8-12, just because then they know they’ll be able to see something if your dates are off slightly. You can always google (I had to do this) and see if there’s a free clinic around that can assist you with your confirmation. I had to rule out ectopic but my OB wouldn’t see me even a week early and I hurt so bad I found a place. Didn’t end up being ectopic thankfully. Best of luck hun!

This is why we love military medical sometimes 🙄 I’m so glad to be in an area that I get to use civilians for my care for this to be honest 😂 One of my shipmates (I’m Coast Guard) told me her horror stories when she was on military prenatal care….

Yeah I was cramping and had really bad back pain and with me in the navy they took me to a military hospital and they told me I had an ectopic pregnancy and that me and the baby were gonna die…and now I’m 21 weeks with a healthy baby boy growing

Idk if this is your first pregnancy but it’s definitely normal to have some cramping. Your body is adjusting and stretching. I definitely could feel it in the beginning. If this brings you any comfort

Yup, I had to wait 8-10w for my previous 3 pregnancies that didn’t end well. They only got me in at 6w because I had 3 miscarriages in a row. It’s pretty typical unless your considered high risk.

My tests took a good 6 days to be almost as dark as the control. I’m now 15 weeks. I would ask them to do bloodwork just to make sure HCG is rising appropriately and what not. Cramping is normal as your uterus starts to prepare and grow. But if you start bleeding red and clots, you need to call the dr and ask what they would like you to do. Even after having 2 losses then a baby, my new midwife REFUSED to get me initial bloodwork. No idea why. She didn’t care about my fears or past. I had to wait until 7 weeks for my first appointment and then a few more days for my first ultrasound (where I measured 6 days behind, as I expected!).

Ugh it sucks so much when you need someone to care and alleviate those fears 😨.. There's no blood, spotting or clots of any kind and the cramping is nowhere near the level of my period cramps and happen around 3x a day.. this is so different than with my first born because the lines where so glaringly obvious there was no denying it at all. I took a test about 4 days ago and the line was darker but not as dark as the control 🙃 and today at 5wks and 6 days the test line was only a little bit darker than the very first test I took 🤔 ( these are the IC that came with the ovulation tets). I'm over here just nervous as heck.
