It was a surprise that I tested positive! I have no symptoms and my family isn’t showing showed of Covid either. They won’t let me retest it to double check if it was a false positive or not. (And before some people attack me saying it’s usually correct, I know how the tests work and how sometimes they are faulty because I make the Covid tests at work.) The nurse gave my boyfriend attitude when he asked to retake it. Well anyways, they’re going to test the baby after 24 hours to see if he’s positive. Will I have to stay longer if he is? We’re supposed to be discharged after 24 hours and I’ve been wearing my mask around him and making minimal contact. Only holding him when he needs to eat etc. (Located in San Diego)
