Doctor appointment today

So I went to my first doctors appointment today and he wrote me a script for medicine to up my egg count and also going to do some other test to check if my tubes are open and with me having cyst I have to get ultrasounds done to see how many I have so much to do here in the next couple months he's also going to be testing my hubby's sperm and if nothing else works he want to inseminate me... has anyone else gone through any of this?
