I had a friend whose daughter had this happen. She had taken amoxicillin 3-4 times before & never had a reaction. Sometimes it just develops at any moment! It’s crazy!

Thanks ladies, I’m thinking it could be that.. he had issues as a baby with penicillin but the last year he has been fine until a recurring ear infection the last 2 months. I just found it odd he didn’t get a reaction WHILE taking it, but it started about half a day after his last dose! We’re on day 2 almost 3 of no meds now 🥺

Came here to say this! If it’s amoxicillin it’s probably an allergic reaction!
