7 week elective scan?

Has anyone had a scan at 7 weeks abdominal and seen the baby? 
We saw our baby last week at 6 weeks transvaginal. She was able to see a glimpse of the yolk sac but did vaginal to see the heartbeat. 
I truly hope I’m not wasting my time going but I just need to for peace of mind!

We did see our baby tonight with the abdominal scan!! And heartbeat!! For me, it was worth it completely. Measuring on time ❤️🙏 Thank you ladies

I did a private scan at exactly 7 weeks and saw baby and heartbeat.

I went for a private at 7w1d and was able to see and hear the heartbeat

I mean a "saw" it literally just yesterday. 7 weeks she dated me so yes. But its like a grain of rice on the screen. Not much to look at but it's there.

I would say it is a bit early for abdominal as the nugget is still tucked into your pelvis and pretty small. Transvaginal is where it is at at this age!

I personally wouldn't pay for an additional scan.

I went in for a scan to find out how far along I was.
We tried abdominal, but she couldn't see anything properly. So we ended up doing vaginal instead.
I was measured to be 6+6 at that point.
My intestines and belly fat just made it impossible that early unfortunately. I really hate the transvaginal scan 😅
