COVID19 and babies

Update: I tested positive today but I’m already over my symptoms! My son had a low grade fever for 2 days and a small cough and also managed to cut his first tooth at the same time but he is fine and back to normal! Thank god for vaccines! It was like a really mild cold for us, fortunately.

Has anyone’s baby had COVID? And if so what was your experience?

My 4 month old was exposed to covid by my father in law over Christmas. He didn’t have any symptoms until New Years and got a positive test yesterday. Before anyone comes at me, we’re all vaccinated, we mask up, we wash our hands and we only go out when necessary. This was his first Christmas and my in laws are super careful about covid too so we thought it would be okay :( this was my biggest fear and I feel absolutely heartbroken. He developed a fever today and I’m so nervous and scared.
