So my ex has not been active in our babies lives, I charged him for domestic violence, so he was in a no contact order, but it has all been dismissed by the courts and he has to go to mental health and a few courses for parenting and drinking, I did file for child support since the court thinks he’s okay to be around our kids I figured he should be responsible but he has not been, he’s refusing to work because his “mental health” this feels really unfair.. for me because I pay everything, I struggle, nobody helps me at all.. and his sister recently came her yelling at my door saying she won’t help me anymore.. I don’t want to get into it because it’s all so stupid, they won’t coparent.. they say hurtful things and don’t help with my kids.. so I wanna go for child support again but I’m afraid he will use the whole mental health thing again.. should I get lawyers involved?
