Epidural side effect??

Hello ladies,

I hope y'all can enlighten me about this subject...

So I had a c section Oct 6th 2021, and obviously had epidural. Days after my C-section I was still a little numb in different areas which was "normal". But I noticed it that my left side was taking longer in coming back to normal.

Weeks later the numbness went away but my left buttock was hurting to touch and I even told my sister that maybe I had an abscess or something in the inside but thankfully the pain went away but my left leg was still kind of hurting it. I paid no mind and I thought that it was going to go away... but it hasn't.

The pain that I am having is a weird pain cause it starts in my lower back and it irradiates to my left leg but only til mid leg && this happens literally when I carry both of my babies at the same time which means that this happens when I lift weight. Anyways, the pain is so bad after I do this that in order for me to change the babies diapers, I have to literally stand for 5 mins in front of the bed and I be literally wanting to cry when I am done and I have to get my back straight.

I know is not sciatica cause I had it yeaaaaaars ago and this problem is different and isn't all the time like the sciatica. I googled it and I found post that says that a side effect of the epidural can be permanent nerve damage && this happens when the spinal cord gets directly damage from the needle or catheter.

Has any of y'all gone through something similar? If so, what was the outcome??? Also, which doctor should I go see if the pain doesn't go away in a few months???
