I’ve had my membranes stripped twice—yesterday and today. My midwife said there’s absolutely nothing left to strip and I should definitely be going into labor soon. Yesterday I had contractions that were 6 minutes apart and progressed from 3-4 to 4-5 in an hour, but L&D still didn’t keep me. I went home and went to sleep and my contractions subsided. Today after she stripped my membranes again I took the midwives brew with half the castor oil (1 tbsp) it’s been about 3 hours and I’ve got contractions every 5 minutes now. I live an hour from the hospital and at (a loose) 5 cm dilated, I’m terrified I won’t make it to the hospital in time. We are staying at my in laws who live 15 minutes from the hospital and hoping for the best tonight! Pleaseeeeee be my turn. Everything hurts.
