Would you date a guy who says he’s unsure if he wants kids but you’d like them one day but not in the near future?

My boyfriend separated from his ex partner as he wanted a baby and she didn’t.

Then he met me. We’ve been together for a year but all of a sudden after his mate had a baby, he says he’s unsure now. He says he’s worried about the lack of sleep and He says it seems so expensive and that he can’t travel. He knows that I want them in my 30s (I’m 25 now) but it’s made me feel a little anxious. He’s even said he’s thinking about getting a vasectomy which he will reverse when the time comes (I’m on the pill so I don’t understand why a vasectomy is needed).

It seems stupid to worry about this now as I am definitely not wanting kids anytime soon. But he says he can’t imagine having them at the moment but maybe in the future he will be more certain

I feel a bit sad he was so certain about a baby with his ex but not with me, makes me feel a bit worthless
