Sushi reccomendations?

Do you like sushi? What kinds do you like? Any with cooked meat? Where do you get yours from? What sauces do you like with them? I’ve never had it but want to try!

Love sushi. We have a local place we go to. I like some of their baked or deep fried options. Picking the location is going to be important it’s easy to have a bad experience with sushi. Be sure to look up reviews. Start with something simple like a California roll or spicy tuna roll.

Find a legit sushi place in your area . So it’s correctly and freshly prepared . Ask for recommendations from the chef as to what to try as a first time sushi and sashimi eater . 
Go slow , it’s an acquired taste usually. Enjoy!

Unfortunately i have a fish allergy but love a vegetarian roll or shrimp tempura roll. Soy sauce, ginger, wasabi all good 
Seaweed salad or some edamame on the side!

LOVE SUSHI 😍 I don’t eat the raw stuff, raw salmon, tuna, sashimi, etc. 
Imitation crab, shrimp, eel, all of that is fine as those fish are always cooked, even if they’re cold now. Any hot rolls as well. 
I’ve never had any issue. Honestly, you could probably do the raw fish as well. It’s all being stored in the same place and handled by the same hands. If you’re gonna get sick you’ll get sick regardless. I still don’t just because it’s peace of mind for me. 
Not eating sushi in pregnancy is a very western rule. South American countries and Asian countries will continue to recommend even raw fish in pregnancy. My MIL gives me crap for it as she’s from Brazil 😂 just pick a reputable place and you’ll be fine

Go to a real sushi place. 
I like avocado roll, California roll and spicy tuna roll (raw)
I mask wasabi in my soy sauce, put some on the sushi and dip it in the soy sauce. Eat the sushi whole. Sometimes I dip it in the white sauce or spicy Mayo
