My 2 year old developed symptoms Friday night and tested positive Saturday morning. Bright strong immediate positive. This morning my husband and 5 year old woke with symptoms. Tested them and negative. When should I test them again? I know to assume they’re actually positive but for our daycare I’d like to provide a positive test for the 5 year old (plus my husband is being a weirdo and saying they don’t have it bc the test is negative and I want to shut him up—he’s not trying to be an asshole, I think he’s scared of long Covid and clinging to hope he doesn’t have it).
