Currently have 11 days till I reach 40 weeks and I haven’t packed my hospital bag or a hospital bag for the baby. I don’t know what I should pack and talking to my mom about stuff like this just gets me irritated since she tends to think she’s right about everything and I just want some advice from other moms and young moms since we are all different and like different things for comfort!

So far I got the frida mom kit. I just need to buy a water bottle from frida mom since my kit didn’t come with one and I thought I had gotten it during my baby shower. I have lots of nursing pads.

What I’m planning to pack in my bag is pj sets (possibly three just incase) a stuffed animal (I have anxiety and like sensory type of things and having one stuffed animal as company when my partner can’t be there with me helps me stay calm and not overwhelmed), lots of fuzzy socks, going to buy some with the grip on the bottom also. I’m not packing underwear since I have the frida mom underwear and will be using that, I also will possibly be getting a labor gown from frida mom (super soft from what I’ve felt), two a long chargers, some shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a towel/rob and some shower slippers

For baby: I’ll be packing a pacifier, two outfits (one my boyfriend likes and one I like), a stuffed animal, a bottle just in case ( I’m choosing to breastfeed) and so far that’s about it. I was told the hospital gives you majority of the baby stuff so I wouldn’t need to bring wipes or diapers.

Is there anything I would be missing for my bag or the baby’s bag? What did you pack in your bag ?
