Is your kid potty trained?

I haven’t started yet with my 26 month old boy. Those who have had success, can you share which method you followed and how long it took? Thanks in advance!

I read the Oh Crap potty training book and he was day trained in 5 days at 22 months. He pretty much always stays dry during naps and wakes up dry overnight about 50% of the time, but he wears a pull up for both still.

For daytime and naps at home yes.  For kindergarten, and nighttime not yet.

We read Oh Crap Potty Training because it’s been a long time since training our older kids. We didn’t follow it to a t, definitely modifying for us and for him. He’s pretty well sat trained but I’m not doing nights and naps yet, he doesn’t stay dry overnight and I’m not on board with waking him during the night to try. We’ve got an 11 month old too so getting up overnight with a toddler just is t tempting to me right now lol. I stay home and we started when my husband would be home for a cpl weeks too after I had a minor surgery so two sets of eyes with the kids. It’s still a work in progress and he has accidents so absolutely not some three day miracle. Potty training is a process and includes regressions. Our guy is worst about getting really into something he’s doing and then just not going to the bathroom so that happens occasionally.
