Working full time! 🤔

I am curious! How many of you mums work full time hours and have your child in daycare full time? I feel awful every day for working full time and having my daughter away from me but in another sense I am showing her good work ethic and she can have an amazing childhood. My childhood was full of debts and we once didn’t have enough money for food so had to steal potatoes out a farmers field!! We lived on eggs and chips for weeks. We didn’t have a pot to piss in as the saying goes but my daughters upbringing is completely different! My job pays very well.

Anyways, I have weekends free with her but is this common or should I be looking for a part time job instead?! I do miss her dearly! But love my job. Obviously I love my daughter more than my job but I work to be able to provide for her. Everything I do is for her.

There’s also no option to drop my hours as I’ve already asked.

I may also put in that the daycare is amazing and she is very ahead with her speech for her age and is confident. So she isn’t lagging behind in that sense which is a positive!
