So my brothers girlfriend called me on NYE because she and my brother got into a huge fight. He pushed her into a wall which created a hole, & he pushed her down and fucked her elbow up. She also told me that he has put his hands on her before and that he has one felony charge against him for domestic violence with his ex and he never told me…

So they went out for dinner and he made her pay, which is fine but he only pays her $600 a week (this girl has an accounting degree 🙄) and she pretty much had to give her last on a $200 tab. Crazy! Not to mention that he can pay her more but when she asked him, he got pissed at her…she said things just went left when she asked if he can pay her back bc she was low on funds and that’s when he gets up and throws a tantrum in the restaurant & basically put on a show for everyone. At some point he ends up taking her car, purse & wallet…

She ends up telling me everything that’s been going on and I’m just disgusted & so fucking disappointed in my brother. I ended up calling him for her to try to convince him to give her her stuff and he ended up being with a guy that’s also his cocaine dealer… he lies to me saying he doesn’t have her things and just being an ass. this goes on for hours…

She ends up telling me how he pretty much manipulated her into getting an apartment in her name bc he has a felony charge and how she has no way of paying it if they breakup bc he doesn’t even pay her what she deserves… she told me that her parents don’t care for him bc he went to their house high and clearly hadn’t slept in days… and guess what? Her dad is addiction/drug counselor.. he knew right away that my brother was on something.

So I ended up telling me brother about himself and explains how he needs to get some help. He used to play in the NFL so he can get therapy and rehab all fu fed by the NFL… it’s so easy for him to do it when he finally acknowledges that he’s an Addict..

as we’re talking he starts talking about how his girlfriend is not innocent and she’s probably fucking other guys right now… let me just say that my brother and I used to be super close like best friends & i know that this behavior (being verbally, physically & emotionally abusive) is a pattern for him. This girl is literally the sweetest girl ever and I’ve seen him do little things to her that prove she is more on the timid side.

Just like a true narcissist, trying to put the blame on her.

Anyway, I guess her parents called to say happy NY and sensed that something was wrong and she told them 🤷🏽‍♀️ as she should have! They pretty much drive 3 hours to pick her up and take her to their family home.

I was so proud of her for telling them what’s going on because it shows that she’s taking the steps to leave for good.

Fast forward too this past Monday, I talked to my brother and he tells me how depressed he’s been.. & while I think he is a piece of shit for being an abuser, I love my brother and want to get him HELP. he ended up having to leave their apartment and is basically homeless now. So he came to my parents house…

I was being super nosey bc I could tell that he was probably arguing because I could see how fast he was texting and there were a bunch of of back to back texts to the girl. He ends up checking her location, calls her, then texted her saying she’s probably having sex with someone else… my mind is blown at this point because even after all of that she’s still sharing her location… I’m just so afraid for her. If he’s being this aggressive towards her now, what’s he going to do next time?

I feel angry with my brother and I know he knows it. I can’t make small talk with him or anything… while I know I can’t control him or his girlfriend, It’s hard for me to pretend everything is ok like everyone else when my brother is a woman beater and narcissist.
