Who makes sacrifices more?

I think it depends on the household. Ours is extremely equal. He busts his ass at work all day and I do the same at home. I cook, clean, homeschool the kids, run all the errands, make sure the bills are paid on time. He owns his own business, works 6 days a week and we want for nothing.

Equal but different sacrifices in our household.  I sacrifice having more income, freedom, etc to make sure my children are focused on at a young age.  My husband sacrifices time home, sleep (he just left at 10pm for an overnight job out of town after working 8 hours already today), memories with our kids, in order to financially provide for us so that I CAN sacrifice and stay home with them more.

Ideally it would be equal but in my experience with my ex he didn't sacrifice anything.  Now happily divorced and the kids don't even see him (Their choice)

Depends. Every family is different. There are parents who do it equally . There are parents where only one is involved. There can not be an across the board answer here.

I dont think theres an easy answer to this. Both parents should be sacrificing the same amount and each parent will sacrifice in different ways. Its not always 50/50. Just like a relationship or marriage. Somedays one will give 80% if the other can only give 20%. Its about balance
